Seniors Section-

Welcome to our Seniors Section.   At Henlow we believe we have something very special to offer our more mature golfers, whatever their golfing experience. Our activities range from a regular Wednesday Morning meetings through to enjoyable and successful away days playing interesting local venues, Senior’s Opens and Senior’s Matches.

On Monday and Wednesday mornings at 10.00am our group meet in the clubhouse. This informal get together helps all level of players to meet, mix and form friendships over coffee/biscuits, and 9 holes of golf. Players who would normally use the course on a casual basis are encouraged to enjoy golf with other members of a similar age in a relaxed environment.

 As in past seasons we have continued to develop our interests which include our entries in many Seniors Open events and several away days with discounted fees for our Seniors.

Our Seniors Match Diary aims to provide enjoyable and friendly golfing with a total of 14 matches and we ensure that ALL our seniors who wish to participate have a chance to play. These matches provide ‘social golf’ and involve meeting and playing with friends from other clubs for the mutual benefit of each other’s company.    Although ‘friendly’ we still have an edge to compete, however all our golfers get pleasure from their golf and meeting others with similar interests.

It must be said that the course at Henlow encourages and challenges all levels of experience bringing out the skills required to improve players of all levels.

Our Diaries for 2012, both for Seniors Matches and all other events will be on the website from Jan1 and updated with additional events as arranged, so why not join us, Henlow Seniors Section offers friendly and unhurried social golf with members sharing similar interests
